LOGLINE: After the unexpected suicide of his cousin, a man investigates the mysterious circumstances. SYNOPSIS: After his cousin suddenly commits suicide Nick Sellers, an affluent law school student, travels to rural Tennessee for her funeral. When things don’t quite add up Nick starts an investigation that leads him into an underworld of opioids, conspiracy, and murder. Starring Brian Maierhofer (Grey’s Anatomy, NCIS, The Foster’s) Angela Nordeng (Married, In This Gray Place, Vicious) and supported by an ensemble cast, “The Suicide of Lillian Sellers” is a proof-of-concept short film that tackles the opioid epidemic and it’s devastation of America’s forgotten rural communities.
